Council of Deputy Ministers recommends study on power strategy

During its Monday session, the Council of Deputy Ministers recommended the conduct of a comprehensive study on a power strategy.
“During its 13 th meeting held at the headquarters of the cabinet’s secretariat general today, a working paper prepared the deputy governor of the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI), Ahmed Barihi, on oil policies in Iraq has been discussed,” according to a statement released by the council.
The meeting also tackled the annual and five-year plans by the Oil Ministry and means of enhancing the ministry’s performance, the statement noted.
