Iraq Energy EXPO and Conference (IEEC) will take place as scheduled on December 5th – 7th at Baghdad International Airport Convention Center.


Regardless of what you might have heard the show will go on:

  • The minister of Oil will be on hand to open the show
  • Many officials from GoO will visit the event
  • Over 100 International and national media outlets will cover the event
  • Over 300 international visitors have registered for IEEC
  • Many embassies in Baghdad will visit IEEC
  • Many professionals from US Embassy will visit IEEC
  • All 18 MoO companies will exhibit
  • All Director Generals at GoO will go over future plans at the conference
  • Over 2000 technical and administrative staff from GoO will visit the event, we are literally picking them up from their residents and transporting them to event
  • All MoO sites throughout Iraq are participating in the event.


For your information, the site is undergoing construction for the last two years with funding from US Government, however unfortunately contractor did not finish site on time and that was the reason for the change of date from initial October 17th, recently contractor was removed for lack of progress and IACCI took the initiative to complete enough work to make this event possible, however the site will not be in its finished form, therefore do not expect a finished product.
No one is coming to Baghdad to see a new building, everyone is coming to have face to face conversation with MoO officials and understand MoO future plans and that is our commitment to you.
